Ini merupakan event yang julung kali diadakan di Sandakan. So, apa lagi amik peluang lah "sementara stok mc ada". Bukan stok apa, tp stok pekerjaan. Program ini merupakan program yang julung kali diadakan di Sandakan dan banyak memberikan manfaat dari segi peluang pekerjaan kepada individu yang ingin menceburkan diri di alam pekerjaan.
Terdapat banyak booth2 yang disediakan semasa program tersebut berlangsung, antaranya adalah booth yang memberikan peluang pekerjaan seperti Petronas,Genting Plantations, Redtone, Public Mutual, Kretam Holdings, IOI Plantations dan banyak lagi. Walaubagaimana pun, sektor kerajaan tidak mengambil bahagian sepanjang program 2 hari tersebut berlangsung. Ini merupakan sesuatu yang amat mengecewakan bagi saya kerana "lain yang difikirkan, lain yg jadi" aduhai..
- Tapi saya teruskan jugak round2 smua booth yg ada n i find intrsting wif some booth which provide the jobs opportunities in finance. So without wasting d opprtunities, i grab it send my resume wif the full attachment of my certificates wif hope to get the chance for d interview.. hehe
- I remember an advice which i got from my lecturer. She said
" When u get a calls for d interview, u already passed the 1st level to get the job".
Peluang yang diberikan adalah baik, tapi untuk mencari pengalaman yang terbaik, saya tetap mengisi kekosongan jawatan yang ada. Walaupun ianya swasta, tapi isi jer la, bukan apa, jarang sngat "fresh graduate" got a job. Nowadays company want to hiring graduates wif the experiences minimum of 1 year.
I go to the "Genting Plantations" and then i c there is a post for an "account assistant". Unfortunately the post only required 1 person to fulfill the post. So i ask the staff and he said to me " yes u can fill in the the post becouse u ur in finance background". So without wasting my time they checked my resume and certificates which i provided to them, and they said
"ur phone number can be reach right? we will call u"
I feel happy by hearing that and I hope i can get it even for the interview session. It means now i have to start search and understanding their company background and it will be my homework for now. And one more thing is they are "private companies" and i feel a bit nervous because most of their staff are Chinese (i am not racist), and as we can see chinese peoples are very strict wif the jobs and task given. So, what i am afraid now is i can't fulfill their requirements. My friend have said that
"u know y chinese people are more successful than malay or any races in Malaysia? this is because they are not in inside d CZ"
Then i said to her
"CZ?? what is that?".
She replied "Comfort Zone".
Yups, saya setuju dengan apa yang dia perkatakan dan ianya adalah sesuatu yang benar. What can i Say here is
"we have to learned about the business from Chinese sometimes".
It is a pleasure for me if i am worked wif the chinese peoples because mostly all of them can give 100% contribution and motivate me to be like them.
Then i go to the IOI Plantations booth. This is a laughed and smile booth for me. This is because the staff who serves us are crazy enough for me to have a nice chit chat wif them. Most of them are very funny in their character and very nice to the applicants like me. They also giving us some advice and after she check all the information about me she said
"I will Suggest u to d company because we really needed u".
Wah aku pon senyum gila cam dapat emas berjuta-juta padahal blom dpat kerja pon haha!!... but that is a nice experience for me.. one day if i became one of the interview i will be nice like her and i will do what she did to me. Such a very welcoming and pleasing smile and characters hehe.
- I think tat enough for now, maybe i will create a new post next week. I hope I can get a call from the companies who wants to hire me...Wish me luck Guys!!
